Reiki - Universal Life Force Energy
Diana has received training in Kundalini Reiki, Usui Reiki, and Karuna Ki Reiki and has attained Master/Teacher level in all three disciplines. (Lineages available upon request.) Diana has been an ordained minister (non-denominational) since September, 1999 - which has nothing to do with Reiki, but by Wisconsin law does allow her to perform hands-on Reiki sessions (hands-on can only be performed by ordained clergy or licensed massage therapists).
Reiki is sometimes called "energy healing" or "laying on of hands" and is a method of concentrating Universal Life Force energy and helping to direct it to a person, pet, place, time, or object with the best intent for achieving healing and positive results. Reiki is not a religion, nor does it promote or interfere with any religious tradition. No belief system is required, although some people do find that their prayers or other religious practices may be enhanced by receiving or performing Reiki.
Reiki sessions are performed with the client in a seated position or lying down (belts or ties may be loosened for comfort). Diana's hands will be placed within inches of the body while Reiki is channeled toward the body's energy centers and areas of pain or energy blockage. (Distance sessions are available. Hands-on sessions can be performed at client request and Diana's discretion.) Reiki sessions may last from 15 to 30 minutes, with recipients reporting a variety of personal experiences ranging from "nothing, just relaxed" to "tingling, colors, sounds", and "a whooshing feeling - like waves."
Reiki is not a substitute for standard medical care, but can be a wonderful compliment to it. If you are interested in scheduling a Reiki session, please contact me. Session cost is $35; travel expenses may apply outside the immediate Fox Valley area.
If you are interested in learning Reiki from me, I would recommend booking a session with me first. You may have received Reiki from others, but I would like you to be familiar with my style and my way of doing things. I do not accept every applicant as a student, so I will want to know more about you and your life path. After we meet, we can discuss training options. If I am unable to offer you training for any reason, I will be happy to refer you to another training source.
